Why Koncile Lite?

After hundreds of conversations with our clients about OCR, two needs kept coming up:

Koncile Lite addresses exactly these needs: every processed page or image consumes 0.5 credit instead of 1 with Koncile Pro.

The feature is available today for all existing and new accounts.

How to enable Koncile Lite in the app?‍

In the app:

• Click on “Documents” in the navigation bar.
• Click the three dots next to a document template and select Template settings.
• Select Koncile Lite
• All new documents will then be processed with this model (previously processed documents will not be re-processed).

What types of documents is Koncile Lite best suited for?

Koncile Lite is ideal for structured documents, whether short or long. Examples include:

• Identity documents, driving licences
• Certificates
• Bank statements
• Vehicle registration documents, business cards
• Short contracts
• CVs
• Company registration extracts

Like Koncile Pro, Koncile Lite captures and organises data from tables and line items.

What is the difference between Koncile Lite and Koncile Pro?

Koncile Pro remains the most powerful model for handling complex cases, such as forms, handwritten content, or documents with non-standard layouts.

For many documents, however, Koncile Lite will be more than sufficient, while delivering significant savings in your document processing. 

Our advice: test your documents with both models and compare the results.

No, nothing changes. Your account has been automatically updated, and your current credits can now also be used with Koncile Lite.
