What is AI-powered document splitting?
Koncile automatically splits multiple documents contained in a single PDF and creates as many separate files as needed. The system identifies pages, detects logical breaks (invoice, annex, contract, delivery note) and generates clean, exploitable files.
How does multi-document splitting work?
There are two splitting modes in Koncile:
- Separation of same-type documents
You upload a file containing several copies of the same document (for example multiple invoices). You simply activate automatic splitting in the model settings. Koncile cuts the PDF and extracts each document individually.
- Splitting documents of different types
You indicate which document types may appear in the PDF (invoice, purchase order, contract, annex, etc.). The AI analyzes each page, detects the document type and automatically assigns it to the correct extraction model, allowing you to extract the appropriate data for each type.
